Procurement Manager - Manufacturing

Position : Procurement Manager
Reporting to : Production Manager

Work Location : Delhi NCR



Responsibilities :

Working closely with the Local Plant Manager and Paramount Global Sourcing Team, develop and administer dependable and progressive sources of supply, managing optimal procurement arrangements/methods for consolidated commodity requirements utilizing life cycle procurement where applicable.



As a collaborative partner, ensure that suppliers are rated consistently and fairly, ensure timely feedback to suppliers regarding performance, and that collaboration and communication is effective between suppliers and Product Development teams to ensure early design involvement into new and existing products. 


Provide Product Development support with financial budgeting, technology research, supplier liaison and full support, start to finish, for prototype/production integrations ensuring a supply base that compliments and exceeds needed technologies and directives. Utilize the Quality Improvement Process to provide leadership to both internal and external suppliers and customers by establishing team involvement and proactive feedback.


Requirements : 


 Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft based applications such as, but not limited to, Word, Excel, and Project Product Lifecycle Management / Revision Control Software
 Proven success in negotiating contracts that deliver robust supply chain solutions and tangible cost savings on an annual basis.

 Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, including experience with India especially New Delhi, Gurgaon, Faridabad and Noida areas supply chain partners.

 Confidence and ability to interact with all levels of the organization.

 Ability to lead a cross functional commodity team by clearly defining duties, performance objectives and deliverables.

 Working knowledge of basic tool construction and mechanical cost/price analysis techniques.

 SAP knowledge desired, not required.

 Travel 10%-15% domestically and internationally.
