Work details
- Collect information on demand forecasts for products (forecasting the number of assessment takers) and production plans (including after-sales service) from members of other departments as appropriate, while liaising and coordinating with production personnel, logistics partners, and suppliers for accurate product and service information to ensure efficient management of the entire process from order receipt to delivery.
- Ensure an efficient and reliable supply of products to a geographically widespread customer base in India while simultaneously ensuring a stable supply of goods, improving service quality, and reducing costs.
- Through the above, analyze issues and prepare improvement plans.
- Discover profitable suppliers mainly for printed materials including mark sheets, test papers, and brochures, and initiate business and organization partnerships
- Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms
- Approve the ordering of necessary goods and services
- Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries
- Assure the reliability and consistency of production by checking processes and final output
<Necessary Skill / Experience >
・Ability to communicate in Japanese on business matters.
・4-6 years' working experience, with at least 2-3 years experience in (i) supply chain management work related to a B2B/B2C services company or logistics management of B2C products, (ii) business process design and management in a BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) company.
・Excellent communication skills, ability to articulate concepts, and work with external vendors and team members from different departments.
・Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
・Personality and perseverance with the ability to stay grounded and learn continuously.
<Preferable Skill / Experience>
・2 years as an Assistant/Deputy manager experience is an advantage.
・MBA or Degrees related to enterprise management or process management.
・Project management skills.
