Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities:
1.Supervises the day to day activities of the organisation-appointed clearing agent. Keeps them informed of all inbound shipments and ensures that all documentation necessary for clearing is provided to the forwarder.
2.Processing and payment of inbound and outbound freight invoices for shipping expenditures incurred on behalf of the company or its customers.
3.To supervise sub-contractor who undertook for packing / crating and domestic logistics coordination.
4.Administrating overall goods importing process including custom clearance, logistics coordination and import duty / GST.
5.Should be familiar with Import BOE verification and MEIS Filing tracking.
6.Should be familiar EPGC and other subsidies schemes.
7.Administrating overall goods exporting process (e.g. logistics cost estimation, packing list preparation, documentation for shipping, negotiation with bank, etc.)
8.Documenting and issuing invoices for goods or services rendered in conformance with contractual obligations.
9.Accounting for exports and imports, preparing, documenting and filing required tax returns.
10.Checks all invoices for logistics services against service requests made from the logistics office. Verifies, summarizes and submits invoice package to the supply / logistics Head for certification.
11.Monitors the status of incoming international supplies, status monitoring and correspondence with the suppliers.
