Job Description
Commercial responsibilities
• Lead all import export activities, in line with applicable laws in all business lines
• Manage the movement of products in or out of the country in accordance with relevant local, country and international law and process.
• Comply with appropriate manner all relevant import/export law procedures, tariffs and duties, licenses and restrictions.
• Manage the necessary documentation physical and online for the efficient, cost effective and lawful accomplishment of all import export activities.
• Communicate with export -import related authorities, customers and suppliers in all relevant territories and countries.
Accounting responsibilities
• Must have a thorough technical understanding of all kinds of import export activities in India like high sea sale, bonded sale, merchant sale, export sale, etc.
• Complete knowledge of using Tally and other accounting software
• Responsible for accounting of sales and purchase of Mumbai / HO in accounting software
• Manage inventory for imports - sales and purchase
• Timely updation in MIS on a monthly basis for sales, purchases and related inventory
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
• Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements
Education and Work Experience Requirements: • Working experience in Export Import for 8 Years, similar industry professionals are preferred. • Full working Knowledge of Tally accounting software and other accounting softwares
• Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook) • Masters in Export – import specialization • Ability to develop and maintain record keeping systems • Excellent analytical, problem solving and coordination skills • Ability to manage work independently and handle multiple projects
