Senior Systems Safety Engineer

Job Description
•Perform safety risk assessments on equipment, assembly and component designs to comply with SEMI Guidelines, UL Standards, CE and other industry standards
•Ensure changes and upgrades continue to meet safety guidelines and standards, and generate necessary safety notices & bulletins
•Review Engineering Changes and Problem Reports from safety standpoint to recommend preventive actions for safety hazards
•Interacts with India and US-based Mechanical, Electrical and Product Engineers for safety and design changes
•Develop & review corporate policies and procedures for EH&S issues.
•Work with peers across the globe to select, test, implement and roll-out important design processes and BKMs
•Support SEMI and other 3rd party safety evaluation
•Attend design reviews and have ability to signoff designs from safety aspects
•Develop test procedures to evaluate component safety per safety guidelines
