Purpose of the Role  

To provide leadership to the legal department and to the entire legal function of all company businesses by giving proactive and pragmatic legal and risk related advice.  



Roles and Responsibilities 

Analyze, identify and manage the legal risks and implications of all of the business transactions.

Provide legal and risk advice to the senior management on all matters affecting their individual departmental transactions.

Handling the vetting of high value legal documents, drafted by legal professionals of business partners/ prospective business partners. 

Finalizing terms & conditions of contracts, settlement agreements; performing analysis and negotiation of high value contracts and agreements.

Handling disputes, litigation and arbitration.

Representing the company to Government authorities.

Instruct and assist external legal partners where necessary.

Keeping the Senior Management informed of developments in laws and regulations that potentially affect business.

Ideal Candidate Profile 

Qualification Excellent University Degree in Legal
