Please note that company is entering into Life Science business in India.
Company has an opening in Life Science Team for the role of ‘Pharmaceutical Business Consultant’ for Mumbai office.
They prefer the person who has much experience of Development and sales of Indian pharmaceutical company in international market (especially in US).
Initially candidate will be for provisional period (3 to 6 months). If he/she is qualified, thereafter we would like to have annual base contract (to be renewed every year).
We are open for retired employees as well.
Salary range would be 50 Lacs pa to 60 Lacs pa. Will be decided as per current salary, experience & skills.
Consultant – Pharma Finished Dosage Form
Reports To: The Consultant – Pharma Finished Dosage Form will report to General Manager, Life Science Team.
This Consultant – Pharma Finished Dosage Form will play an integral role to develop finished dosage form (FDF) export business from India to the select international markets where Company’s pharmaceutical trading business is operating such as Japan, the United States, and Europe. You will identify FDF products such as generic drugs and 505(b)(2) drugs and introduce them to Company customers in overseas. You will also facilitate business discussion and negotiation between FDF suppliers and Company customers
Responsibilities and Duties:
Proactively identify FDF products (e.g. ANDA or 505(b)(2) drug products available for licensing) and introduce to Sumitomo customers
Facilitate business discussion and negotiation between FDF suppliers and Sumitomo customers as intermediary
BA or BS degree
Business Development or similar role at generic or specialty pharmaceutical companies
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Superior presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
Technical and regulatory skills required to understand and propose products by focusing on customer requirements
Ability to communicate information, whether technical or non-technical to customers, in a clear and concise manner
